The sound of ice on the windows brings back memories of being without power for nine days in December 2007. Not a pleasant time for us or many other Tulsans as hundred of thousands of people found new and unique ways to stay warm, dress in the dark and turn to friends and familes for support. Pete and I were fortunate to luck into a hotel room on the third night — our haven in the storm. So far this year, we’ve been fortunate and haven’t had too many storms. Tonight is a bitterly cold one. Hopefully the ice doesn’t cause too much damage. Here are a few pics from tonight. I’ll post more in the daylight.
